Drive with passengers’ needs in mind

A bus or coach driver application should demonstrate vehicle experience and attention to passengers. Describe routes operated, stop management and communication with the control team; specify your ability to explain an itinerary or disruption in the service language and your experience with accessibility needs, showing how safe vehicle handling works alongside helpful passenger communication.

Choose between local routes and touring work

School services, scheduled routes and tourist tours can involve very different working spans and time away. Check licence recognition and professional requirements in the destination, then clarify sign-on arrangements, breaks, passenger duties and route training; the title “driver” alone does not reveal the daily pattern or depot where you would be based.
